This is not your typical praise and worship CD. Here we find excellent songwriting, with deep, reflective lyrics, excellent piano playing, and Geoff's beautiful voice. It seems to me that Geoff is not trying to fit into a genre, he is playing and singing his songs using his excellent gifts of musicianship and poetry, just as he would at a live performance. The arrangements are purely piano and voice. The style is easy listening/traditional ballads. I enjoyed this CD very much, but the crown jewel is the last song, "The Power of You Love", with strings and other parts adding to the piano arrangement. In particular, having a new, additional verse makes this classic song even more wonderful. Thank you Geoff.
