ONE CHURCH, ONE CITY, ONE SOUND – NEW HILLSONG LIVE ALBUM: ‘SAVIOUR KING’

On Sunday March 18th 2007, after two and a half incredible days of the annual Hillsong Colour Your World Women’s Conference in Sydney, Australia, the congregation of Hillsong Church gathered together as ONE in Sydney’s largest indoor stadium, ‘Acer Arena’, to unite in ONE sound and record the latest Hillsong LIVE worship album. The atmosphere was electric, as the sound of over 13,000 worshippers reverberated throughout the auditorium… real people living real lives… singing, dancing and giving expression to the faithfulness of their God through wholehearted worship, led by Darlene Zschech and the team.

Even before the first note was sung, Darlene declared the truth of Psalm 27:4: “ONE thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the House of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple”.

The new songs included on this album are exactly that – songs with life, energy and, ultimately, heartfelt adoration for our Saviour, Jesus Christ. The title track ‘Saviour King’ has become an anthem in Hillsong Church of late, and was sung at both the opening and the close of the evening. Our prayer is that you would be inspired to worship in spirit and truth as the power of our incredible God is declared through the beautiful songs on this latest Hillsong LIVE album, ‘Saviour King’.
